Matt has a well-rounded approach to dispute resolution and is committed to providing practical solutions that align with his clients’ individual needs.
Matt joined Rothley in 2025 as an Associate in our Disputed Wills and Trusts team, based in Manchester. Since qualifying in July 2023, Matt has represented claimants, defendants and executors in matters concerning the validity of wills, the removal of personal representatives, professional negligence, and claims for reasonable financial provision (under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975).
In February 2024, Matt attained Higher Rights of Audience and is therefore entitled to exercise rights of audience in all civil proceedings in the higher courts of England and Wales. Matt has robust advocacy experience, having successfully represented clients at trial and effectively guided clients through mediation.
