Matthew takes an attentive and sympathetic approach to addressing clients’ needs, whilst also appreciating the wider practicalities of dispute resolution. 

He joined Rothley Law in August 2025 and is an Associate Solicitor in our Disputed Wills and Trusts team, based in Birmingham. Qualifying via the new SQE route, Matthew training he gained experience in residential/commercial property, contentious probate, general litigation and SEN school appeal matters.  

Since qualifying in December 2024, Matthew has worked on both Court of Protection Health and Welfare matters and matters concerning the validity of wills, the removal of personal representatives, and claims for reasonable financial provision (under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975).
