Sophie is an experienced Senior Associate in our Private Wealth team. With a compassionate and client-focused approach, Sophie specialises in helping individuals and families plan for their future, often at moments of vulnerability or uncertainty.
Now based in our Reading office, Sophie qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and has over 15 years of experience advising clients on succession and inheritance tax planning, Wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She combines empathy with efficiency and technical excellence to provide a well-rounded service tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Reflecting her specialist knowledge in this complex and evolving area of law, Sophie is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.
Prior to her legal training, Sophie read Modern History at the University of Oxford. Outside of work, Sophie is a school governor, a keen flautist, and a busy parent of two young children.
