Rebecca Bristow celebrates her win at the South West Leadership Awards

Rebecca Bristow honoured for her Leadership in Professional Services

We are delighted to announce that Rebecca Bristow, Partner in our Court of Protection team, has won Professional Services Leader Award at the South West Leadership awards.

Amid stiff local competition, the accolade recognises Rebecca’s exceptional strength as a mentor in her field, leading with empathy and consideration.

Rebecca’s strengths as a leader

In reaching their decision, the judges lauded Rebecca’s contribution to her team’s development, which has gone hand-in-hand with the impact her work has had on clients. By taking a coaching approach to leadership, Rebecca provides clear guidance while allowing her team to work independently. Purposeful and empathetic check-ins prioritise personal development, which has in turn enabled Rothley Law’s Court of Protection team to better serve their clients and make a real difference to their lives.

A culture of collaboration

Rebecca’s award stands out as a great example of our culture and values as a firm: tenacious, authentic, united and groundbreaking. As we approach our third year, creating this culture has been a key part of our success in building a firm where we invest in our people. Colleagues in the firm across all of our teams are given support, resources and opportunities to realise their goals and develop in a collaborative environment.

This award follows hot on the heels of Rothley Law’s recent shortlisting in the 2026 Bristol Life Awards, marking a whirlwind first year for our Bristol office.
