Andriy is a Principal Associate based in Birmingham assisting vulnerable individuals in the management of their property and finances, dealing with statutory Will applications and assisting on various other Court of Protection applications.
Andriy has previously worked for Coventry City Council Legal Services where he developed a specialism in Adult Social Care and Mental Capacity Act matters, before moving to private practice in 2014 at a high street firm in Coventry and Warwickshire, where he specialised in Court of Protection and private client work. During his time there, Andriy was awarded the Coventry and Warwickshire First Young Lawyer of the Year and, later, Young Professional of the Year in 2018.
Andriy has a developing practice in contentious matters, with experience in supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through the process of investigation and removal of a Deputy or attorney who has abused their position of financial control.
Andriy is also a member of the committee for the West Midlands Court of Protection Practitioners Association and has been a long-term supporter of the ‘Dementia Friends’ initiative which aims to change people’s perceptions of dementia and transform the way people think, act and talk about the condition.
