An experienced Principial Associate based in our Birmingham office, Andriy helps vulnerable individuals and their families to manage their properties and finances.
He brings over a decade of experience from across the sector which gives him a unique insight into client matters. While at Coventry City Council Legals Services, Andriy specialised in Adult Social Care and Mental Capacity Act matters. He later moved on to a high street firm where his focus was on Court of Protection and private client work. Andriy’s work was recognised with two awards – the Coventry and Warwickshire First Young Lawyer of the Year and, later, Young Professional of the Year in 2018.
Andriy specialises in Court of Protection property and affairs matters, including applications for the appointment of professional and lay deputies and Statutory Will applications. He has a developing practice in contentious matters, with experience in supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through the process of investigation and removal of a Deputy or attorney who has abused their position of financial control.
Andriy takes care to involve himself with both the professional and local community. He’s a member of the committee for the West Midlands Court of Protection Practitioners Association, and also a long-term supporter of the ‘Dementia Friends’ initiative from the Alzheimer’s Society, helping to change people’s perceptions of dementia and transform the way people think, act and talk about the condition.
