Charlotte is experienced in the administration of complex high value estates, including intestate and cross-jurisdiction estates. Charlotte advises both lay and professional Executors on their roles and responsibilities, and on the possibilities of Deeds of Variation and appropriating assets for tax efficiency. Charlotte works closely with our Disputed Wills and Trusts team to administer estates that are subject to contested proceedings or negotiation, representing and advising Executors throughout this process.

Charlotte advises on the creation and administration of Trusts and acts for both lay and professional Trustees to assist them in meeting their legal obligations.

Charlotte advises on and prepares simple and complex Wills for clients to achieve tax efficiency, and often acts for those with more intricate and sensitive family arrangements to best achieve their wishes. Charlotte’s work also includes advising on capacity issues and preparing both general purpose and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
