Sarah heads up our Birmingham Private Wealth team. She started her legal career at the Office of the Supervision of Solicitors at the Law Society in 2001.
Sarah advises clients on Wills, Powers of Attorneys, Estate planning, the administration of Trusts and Estates, the constitution or winding up of nil rate band discretionary trusts and deeds of variation.
She regularly deals with the administration of high value Estates and has a wealth of experience in dealing with foreign, business, and agricultural assets and in claiming the appropriate Inheritance Tax reliefs. Sarah has also dealt with insolvent Estates and complex intestacies.
Sarah’s skills and experience enable her to advise effectively on complex family and financial circumstances offering an efficient and friendly service. She has numerous well-established clients who appreciate her straightforward, uncomplicated, and personable manner – the loyalty of her clients and their willingness to recommend Sarah to friends and family speaks for itself.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having obtained full membership in 2011. She has been named as an Associate to Watch in the Chambers HNW guide since 2020.
